## About Stricker Handbikes

As a pioneer in the handbike history and the oldest handbike manufacturer in Europe, we have been following the life-changing goal of helping people with disabilities to achieve more independence and participation on a daily basis for over 30 years. At our location in the Black Forest, we passionately manufacture high-quality handbikes and front wheel attachments according to your individual needs and wishes.

### Mindfulness and responsibility: For a better future

Being mindful of our resources and of the people around us goes without saying for us. Through ecologically conscious decisions and social commitment we want to make a positive contribution - for society and for a future worth living in.

### Energy from the sun

By installing photovoltaic systems we now cover about 53 %* of our electricity consumption with clean energy we generate ourselves. An important step towards acting with the environment in mind. We also make a point of using electric drives wherever possible in our vehicle fleet, in order to cut emissions and travel with less harm to the environment.

### Responsibility in general

As a company we take responsibility and support organisations and associations that work for the common good. Among them are Aktion Kinderschutz e.V., which is committed to preventing child abuse, and Rollitreff Franken, which gives wheelchair users a place to meet and do things together. With our donations we want to help important social projects along and have a positive effect on many people’s lives.

### Reuse instead of waste

Saving resources does not stop at production for us - we rely on reuse when shipping as well. Whenever possible we use cardboard boxes, padding material and other packaging that has already been used. That reduces waste and avoids using up new packaging material unnecessarily.
